Ways to meet

However the day finds you.

One therapist, four ways to be with them — message, voice, video, or face-to-face at our office. Meet whatever way feels right.

01
Written

Message

Write when the words arrive — at midnight or on a lunch break. Your therapist reads carefully and replies on a steady rhythm, so the conversation keeps going between live sessions.

02
Spoken

Voice

Sometimes you just need to talk. A voice call gives you the warmth of a real conversation with none of the pressure of being on camera — good for hard days, commutes, or quiet rooms.

On screen

Video

Face-to-face from wherever you feel safe. Video is the closest thing to sitting in the room together, with the comfort of being in your own space.

In person

In-person

Prefer to be in the room? Come to our office and sit down with your therapist the traditional way. Available where we have a local office — your therapist will let you know what's nearby.

Switching is always free

Pick whatever fits today and change your mind tomorrow. Your therapist comes with you across every format — message when life is busy, video for a deeper talk, or in person when you're nearby.

I began with messaging because a camera felt like too much. Six weeks on, I look forward to our calls.

Common questions

Does switching formats cost more?

No. You can move between message, voice, and video freely — the price depends on the session, not the format.

Which format should I choose?

Start with whatever feels lowest-pressure. Many people begin with messaging and move to voice or video as they get comfortable. There's no wrong choice, and you can change anytime.

Is in-person available everywhere?

In-person sessions are offered where we have a local office. After you're matched, your therapist will let you know whether meeting at the office is an option for you — and you can always meet remotely in the meantime.

What do I need for a video session?

Just a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, and a private space where you feel comfortable. No special software to install.

Are sessions recorded?

No. Sessions aren't recorded. What's said stays between you and your therapist.
